Young Women’s Giving Circle

The Young Women’s Giving Circle (YWGC) is sponsored by the Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County. The group is composed of girls in 9th – 12th grade who share the same passion: helping women and girls in need.

Mission
To promote and ensure the wellness of women and girls in the Howard County community.

The YWGC raises money and makes grants to non-profits organizations in Howard County whose missions support the needs of women and girls. We meet twice a month during the school year at HCC and hold several fundraisers and community service and volunteer activities throughout the year. In the 2012-2013 season, we have raised over $2,000 which was granted to Girls on the Run of Central MD and the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County.
